The Club Andino Gaston Saavedra has a mountain refuge located right in Farellones winter centre, at 7880 feets over the sea level, to 22 miles of Santiago of Chile and to short distance of the three main ski centers in Chile: La Parva, El Colorado-Farellones and Valle Nevado.

The refuge has capacity to lodge to 50 people in rooms with 2 and 3 staterooms each one, rooms of meeting and an ample dining room, heated with chimney and modern firewood stoves.

GastoncitoAdditionally, the refuge has an independent department (Gastoncito) for 8 persons distributed in 2 rooms with 4 staterooms each one, and can be reserved separately or altogether with the rest of the refuge.

This refuge-hosteria has homemade service of food to very advisable prices. It is possible to have these room service and food throughout the year, in winter (July to September) in season of ski or the rest of the year like departure point to practice familiar hiking, andinismo, strolls, or simply to enjoy the pure air the mountain and their beautiful landscapes.
